Meet Brett
As Director of Research, Brett is directly responsible for managing several of our strategies, including Perennial Growth, Long Term Trend and Write Income. Additionally, the Research department conducts thorough analyses of companies to identify undervalued stocks that carry attractive upside potential.
Brett graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and immediately moved to Baltimore to work as an Analyst for a firm that provided research on small-to-mid cap companies for mutual funds and hedge funds. After five years, his employer was kind enough to let him move back home to be closer to his family and work remotely from Omaha. After working for that firm for 12 years, Brett decided to join Carson Wealth in September 2011 to pursue his career goal of becoming a Portfolio Manager. Brett became a CFA charter holder in 2005.
While Brett and his wife love to travel (Brazil, Russia, Peru, Vietnam, Costa Rica, Spain), their new passion is their 11-month old boy, Charlie. He is also an avid sports and music fan and loves to golf and go to concerts.
