July 20, 2018 – Pinnacle Financial Group, an independent investment and wealth management firm headquartered in Amarillo, Texas, today announced it has joined Carson Wealth, a Barron’s Hall-of-Fame nationally ranked advisory firm. The team – led by founder and CEO Michael David and including advisors Jamie Carroll, Jeff Maynard, Brandon Woodard, Brad Doyle and Danny Barker – decided to affiliate with Carson Wealth to further strengthen their movement in the financial services industry and set a new standard for the client experience. Both firms bring well-respected brands to the partnership and share a deep-held commitment to making the complex simple for investors.

Michael David will maintain active majority ownership of his firm’s six office locations and will remain as the strategic decision-maker for all business decisions and operations, including 28 stakeholders throughout Texas and Kansas. Currently, Pinnacle Financial Group’s six locations collectively manage $1.1 billion in assets, illustrating their long-standing history in serving the ever-evolving needs of their clients. The firm also announced plans to acquire three additional wealth management firms in Texas, Arizona and California, all of which share Pinnacle Financial Group’s core values, focus on personalized service and strategic vision.

Along with the affiliation, Pinnacle Financial Group is able to deliver a personalized digital experience that engages clients and articulates the Value of RelationshipTM in a whole new way by providing a holistic view of a client’s financial plan and highlighting major milestones in the client-advisor relationship, while simultaneously holding advisors accountable to their action items and conveying full transparency to the client.

“It’s a transformational leap for both our team and our brand; I’m having the time of my life,” said Michael David. “Overnight, we’ve elevated our national presence as one of the most recognized financial services brands in the country, while keeping the interests of our clients at the forefront. The real benefit of this move is how it reaffirms the promise we’ve made to our clients and their families, above all else.”

“Michael and his team have known Carson Wealth for decades,” said Ron Carson, CEO and founder of Carson Group. “We couldn’t be more excited to have such a fast-growing firm represent a new chapter of the Carson Wealth brand. We make the complex simple for clients no matter their phase of life and or level of wealth, and we look forward to seeing that meaningful mission expand with the addition of Pinnacle Financial Group’s entire team.”

In addition to being a mainstay in the Barron’s annual list of top wealth management firms, Carson Wealth was recently added to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest growing companies, the Forbes list of America’s Top Wealth Advisors and a top-50 firm for Best Places to Work for Financial Advisors by InvestmentNews.
