Palatine, IL – March 1, 2019 – Kabarec Financial Advisors, Ltd., an independent investment and wealth management firm headquartered in Palatine, Illinois, today announced it has joined Carson Wealth, a Barron’s Hall-of-Fame nationally ranked advisory firm. The team, led by founder and CEO Michael Kabarec, decided to affiliate with Carson Wealth to expand the company’s footprint and bring more attention to the advanced menu of services available.

Both firms bring well-respected brands to the partnership and share a deep-held commitment to making the complex simple for investors.

Michael Kabarec will maintain an active role in the firm as a partner and continue as Senior Wealth Advisor providing guidance to retired and soon to be retired clients in the investment management, retirement, and estate planning areas.

In addition, Mark McCallum and Lisa Thuer have become equity partners, and will continue as Wealth Advisors. With this transition, Mr. Kabarec states, “As I have told many of my clients, I am not going anywhere.  I will remain an equity partner for the next 3 to 5 years. My desire was to always have an internal succession plan because I felt it was the best for my clients’.  This partnership provides the firm and our clients, not only continuity of service with a solidified team that already knows you, but also a clear understanding of my succession plan.”

With the affiliation, Kabarec Financial Advisors, Ltd. will deliver a cutting edge personalized digital experience that engages clients in a holistic view of a client’s financial plan while providing trust, transparency, and accountability.

“For almost 37 years, Kabarec Financial Advisors, Ltd. has provided in depth retirement, investment management, and estate planning services to clients throughout the country,” said Mr. McCallum. “We are excited for this new chapter, as this move reinforces our commitment to our clients and illustrates our bigger vision to deliver comprehensive wealth management services while at the same time providing trust, transparency, and accountability.”

In addition to being a mainstay in the Barron’s annual list of top wealth management firms, Carson Wealth was recently added to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest growing companies for the second consecutive year, the Forbes list of America’s Top Wealth Advisors, and a top-50 firm for Best Places to Work for Financial Advisors by InvestmentNews.
