The Nebraska Chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation will host its annual Night of Champions Gala on November 2, 2019, at 6 p.m. at the Omaha Marriott Downtown in the Capitol District. This special evening honors professionals and volunteers in the greater Omaha community while raising critical funds for their mission: To cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improve the quality of life of children and adults living with these diseases. Ron Carson, Founder and CEO of Carson Wealth, and Paul West, Managing Director, will serve as Honorary Co-Chairs of the gala.
“So many of our own current stakeholders and their families are impacted by these diseases every day,” said Ron Carson. “We’re proud to support such a worthy cause and call attention to the work and efforts being invested to tackle Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis in the greater Omaha community. It’s special being a part of a passionate group that cares so deeply for finding a cure.”
The evening will feature a cocktail reception, silent auction, games, live music, dinner program, live auction and champion awards, followed by an after-party with dancing. In addition, IBD patients will share their compelling testimonials as champion speakers, offering perspective and inspiration for the audience.
“With nearly 20,000 Nebraska residents living with these diseases, the Foundation’s annual gala provides our community with the opportunity to raise critical funds for our research, education and support programs,” said Aaron Castens, Executive Director for the chapter. “Events like our Night of Champions Gala help to empower our patients and their loved ones to become active partners in finding cures for these debilitating diseases. We are so thankful for the leadership of Ron and Paul as they help elevate awareness and support for our mission.”
